ROYAL CRAFT WOOD Premium Foldable Bathtub Tray Caddy – Expandable Bamboo Bath Tray (Natural)

A bath gets longer the moment your hands have somewhere to put things. This tray is a board of lacquered bamboo, 9 in (23 cm) deep, that pulls out from 29.5 to 43 in (75 to 109 cm) and rests on both rims of the tub, with silicone grips underneath. In the middle a slot props up a book, a tablet or a phone; around it are a holder for a candle, a slot for a stemmed glass and a removable tray at each end.

Two things the listing does not answer: how wide the rims have to be, and how thick a book the slot accepts. A tub that stands against a wall with almost no ledge on that side is the case to check before ordering. Bamboo and standing water are not friends, lacquer or not – the maker’s own care line is to wipe the tray with a dry cloth, and it folds in half to be stored somewhere dry.

Tip: Pull it out to the width of your tub and press down on both ends before anything goes on it – if it rocks, it is not sitting flat on the rims.
