ASKOLD 2pcs Sauna Hats Wool, Banya Hat for Men and Women (White and Grey)
a guest who arrives without a hat, couples, sitting through the pours on the upper bench
Eight small single-ingredient oils – enough variety to give every round its own scent.
A guided session usually changes scent from round to round – something soft to open, something herbal in the middle, something fresh to finish. That calls for several small bottles rather than one big one. This Cliganic box holds eight 0.17 fl oz (5 mL) bottles: peppermint, lavender, eucalyptus, tea tree, lemongrass, rosemary, frankincense and orange. Each is a single-ingredient oil, certified USDA Organic, and the maker says every batch is tested for purity by an independent lab.
The set is sold for diffusers, so the listing has no sauna instructions. The general practice is heavy dilution – a drop or two stirred into the bucket water, never neat oil on the heater. Essential oils are concentrated and flammable, and several of these, including tea tree, eucalyptus and peppermint, are toxic to cats and dogs, so the box stays outside the hot room and out of reach of children and pets.
Tip: Line up the two or three bottles for the evening before guests arrive and let everyone smell them from the open bottle – a scent somebody dislikes cold is one to swap out before it reaches the stones.
