Cold Plunge Bubplay

Bubplay Ice Bath Cold Plunge Tub with Cover, 105 Gallons, Black, XL

An upright folding tub with a lid – deep enough to sit in, light enough to put away.

Best for a first cold plunge at homepatios and garage cornerspeople who want to try before they commit

A first cold tub should be easy to set up and just as easy to put away again if the habit does not stick. This Bubplay is an upright fabric barrel about 31.5 in (80 cm) across and just as tall. Eight steel rods slide into the wall, a pump inflates the top ring, and a garden hose does the rest. The listing puts the capacity at 105 gal (397 L) and says the tub suits people up to 6 ft 7 in (201 cm).

It comes with a lid, and the maker describes a six-layer insulated wall, which helps cool water stay cool between dips. There is no filter, so plan on changing the water regularly – the bottom drain and hose make that a small job. Mind the weight: filled two-thirds, the tub holds roughly 580 lb (265 kg) of water.

Tip: Fill it about two-thirds and step in before you add more – your body raises the water level by several inches.
